SaaSfolio started as a spreadsheet.
Like most of you, we'd accumulated a portfolio of software tools — lifetime deals from AppSumo, subscriptions for our projects, licenses we resold to clients. The collection grew, but our understanding of it didn't. We knew we'd spent a lot. We had a vague sense that some tools were profitable. But we couldn't quantify any of it.
So we built a spreadsheet. Then the spreadsheet broke under its own weight. Then we built SaaSfolio.
SaaSfolio is the software investment dashboard we wished existed when we were tracking 50 tools across three spreadsheets and a notes app. It brings portfolio-level financial thinking to a space that desperately needs it. Because software purchases aren't just expenses — they're investments. And investments deserve measurement.
Today, SaaSfolio serves LTD buyers, agency owners, indie hackers, SaaS founders, and resellers who take their software portfolios seriously. Our goal is to evolve into the financial operating system for anyone who buys, sells, or manages software as a business asset.
We're just getting started. And we're building in public.
